Klondike Solitaire

Move every card to the four foundations in ascending suit order, from Ace through King.

How to play

1. Deal the tableau into seven columns with only each top card face up.
2. Build tableau runs downward in alternating colors and turn newly exposed cards face up.
3. Move Aces and then higher cards of the same suit onto the four foundations.

Strategy tips

• Prioritize moves that reveal face-down tableau cards.
• Keep empty columns available until a useful King can move there.
• Review the tableau before drawing from the stock.

Spider Solitaire

Remove all cards by assembling complete descending sequences of the same suit from King to Ace.

How to play

1. Build descending runs in the ten tableau columns.
2. Move packed same-suit runs together and use empty columns for temporary space.
3. Deal another row only when every column contains at least one card.

Strategy tips

• Prefer same-suit moves so long runs remain movable.
• Create an empty column before committing to another deal.
• Expose hidden cards across several columns instead of locking one column.

FreeCell

Move all 52 cards to the foundations, using the free cells and empty columns to plan sequences.

How to play

1. Build tableau columns downward in alternating colors.

• Keep as many free cells and empty columns open as possible.
• Release low Aces and Twos early when it is safe.
• Count your open spaces before attempting to move a long sequence.

Remove every card in the pyramid by selecting exposed pairs worth thirteen; Kings are removed alone.

How to play

1. Select two uncovered cards whose ranks total thirteen.
2. Remove an exposed King without pairing it.
3. Draw through the stock and waste when no pyramid pair is available.

Strategy tips

• Favor pairs that uncover two new pyramid cards.
• Check whether a stock card is needed for a deeper blocker.
• Remove exposed Kings promptly because they need no partner.

TriPeaks Solitaire

Clear the entire tableau by chaining cards one rank higher or lower than the current waste card.

How to play

1. Play an exposed tableau card one rank above or below the waste card.
2. Continue a run in either direction for as long as legal cards remain.
3. Draw a new stock card when the chain stops.

Strategy tips

• Look ahead for the route that exposes the most covered cards.
• Remember that Ace connects to both Two and King when the rules allow it.
• Save stock cards by building the longest available chain.

Reveal all non-mine cells; use adjacent-number clues and flags to avoid every concealed mine.

How to play

1. Reveal a hidden cell to begin on a guaranteed safe area.
2. Use each number to count mines in the eight neighboring cells.
3. Flag certain mines and reveal every remaining safe cell.

Strategy tips

• Start with forced deductions before making a guess.
• A number with that many adjacent flags makes its other neighbors safe.
• A number with exactly that many hidden neighbors identifies all of them as mines.

Fill each row, column, and three-by-three box with the digits 1 through 9 exactly once.

How to play

1. Select an empty cell and enter a digit from 1 to 9.
2. Use notes to track candidates that may fit a cell.
3. Complete every row, column, and box without repeating a digit.

Strategy tips

• Scan for cells with only one possible candidate.
• Check a number across both its rows and boxes.
• Use notes consistently and remove candidates after every confirmed entry.

Choose one unused scoring category after each turn and finish all thirteen with the highest total possible.

How to play

1. Roll all five dice, then hold any dice you want to keep.
